Christine helped me through the nursing struggles of my second baby this year. She came to my house 4 times to offer hands-on guidance and useful suggestions for treating sore nipples and correcting my babies latch. Christine has many years experience at hospitals and a parent education center (Day One). In addition to her broad knowledge she is compassionate, a great listener, and has no agenda except to offer the support you need. She does house calls on the Peninsula also.

After my delivery it became clear that I had multiple hurdles to overcome in order to be able to breast feed my newborn. Christine was able to see me right away and quickly diagnosed both of my issues, neither of which the hospital staff were able to figure out. Over the course of a few weeks my nipples have healed and my milk supply is up to 80% of my baby's needs. If it were not for Christine's patience, knowledge and dedication, I know I wouldn't have had this sort of success. In addition to spending ample time with me in the office, she responds immediately to phone calls and emails. She has been wonderful to work with.
** As a side note, Christine has finally decided to take on her married name of "Kenyon" so you may want to search on Christine Labriola and Christine Kenyon.

When our daughter lost too much weight during her first week of life, it was a very traumatic experience. Coupled with the exhaustion and anxiety of being a new mom, I was ready to give up on breastfeeding many times during the early weeks. I thought I would never have enough milk to nourish my baby. Our pediatrician recommended that we contact Christine for guidance. She came to our home and worked with me on my breastfeeding technique. She also helped us put together a feeding plan to get my daughter’s weight back up and my daughter bounced right back (and then some) in a few days. Since then, she has been gaining steadily. Christine has been there for us for all of the follow-up questions that have come up in the past few months. Christine’s calm demeanor and positive attitude really gave me the confidence that I needed at a very challenging time.
